Asylum Applications
Asylum applications may, in certain circumstances, be submitted to the U.S Asylum Office or to the U.S Immigration Court.

Affirmative Asylum
These are submitted to the U.S. Asylum Office when a person is not in removal proceedings. Exception is unaccompanied immigrant minors, see below.

Defensive Asylum
These are submitted to the immigration judge as a defense to removal, when a person is placed in removal or 'deportation' proceedings by the U.S Government.
Asylum Applicants
We pride ourselves in assisting vulnerable members of the community to apply for asylum because they face serious harm or death if they return to their home countries. We are honored to help members of some of the most vulnerable communities whose lives have been torn apart, in their quest to rebuild their lives here in the USA. Below are a few possible groups which we represent:
Minors
We represent migrant children who fear persecution if they return to their countries of origin. Many undocumented migrant children who arrived in the USA unaccompanied have the right to apply for asylum at the U.S Asylum Office. Others may have to apply at the U.S Immigration Court and have their case decided by a judge. Regardless of which option is to be taken, we carefully counsel and assist our vulnerable clients throughout the process, from case preparation to hearing representation.

LGBTQ Community
Many members of the LGBTQ community face serious harm, death or torture if they return to their home country, due to widespread intolerance and discrimination and ineffective law enforcement protection. We carefully counsel our LGBTQ clients with regard to their asylum applications and provide vigorous representation at the hearing.
Victims of Domestic Violence
Domestic violence is a global and often deadly problem which many countries fail to address. We help many vulnerable victims of intimate partner violence through comprehensive legal advice, case preparation, and vigorous representation throughout the asylum application process.
